Milk bags made into mats at Penetanguishene Public Library

PENETANGUISHENE – Penetanguishene Public Library officials are inviting local high school students to earn volunteer hours by helping create mats out of milk bags.
The library has been collecting and repurposing empty milk bags for several years. The “milk bag mats” are sent to Kenya and the Philippines. Some are also distributed to the homeless in Canada.
