Tuesday April 14: County of Simcoe hearing on Beeton Woods stop work order
NOTICE OF HEARING CONCERNING
AN APPEAL PURSUANT TO BY-LAW NO. 5635
THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF SIMCOE
RE: County of Simcoe – Appeal – Stop Work Order 2015-035
Property Location: Part of Lots 8, 9 and 10, Concession 9,
6386 and 6416 9th Line, New Tecumseth, Ontario
Take notice that the County of Simcoe, has received an appeal from Maria Rizzardo (Tecumseth Estates Inc.), with respect to a stop work order placed on the lands of the landowner preventing, on an interim basis, the destruction or removal of trees from the property. The appeal has been lodged pursuant to section 7 of County of Simcoe By-law No. 5635.
A Hearing regarding this appeal is being held pursuant to the Statutory Powers Procedure Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter S.22.
The Hearing will take place before the members of Simcoe County Council, in the Council Chambers, County Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26, Midhurst, Ontario on Tuesday April 14, 2015 commencing at 11:00 a.m. Council may lift the stop work order and confirm the permit that has been given with or without conditions, or may lift the stop work order and cancel the permit.
Take notice that anyone wishing to present at the Hearing is entitled to be represented and to present evidence at the Hearing, either in person or with the assistance of a lawyer.
If you, or your lawyer intend to present at the Hearing, you must register with the County Clerk and submit an outline of the issues you intend to present and any evidence you intend to rely on, no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. All material submitted will be included with Council’s agenda for the Hearing and available on the County’s website at simcoe.ca
Petition submissions: please note, only one representative of a petition will be entitled to speak/present at the Hearing on behalf of all of the petitioners.
