Springwater’s voter notification cards delayed

News release from Springwater Township

The delivery of Voter Notification Cards to Springwater residents has been delayed.

Everyone Counts, the vendor responsible for the delivery of the Cards, has confirmed that a delay has occurred between printing, shipping and the delivery to the Canada Post Depot. As a result, Voter Notifications Card will be delivered to qualified voters the week of October 20, 2014.

Additional Help Desk staff have been added to field calls related to obtaining a voter pin/password.

The advance vote via internet and phone will commence as scheduled on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Voters wanting to cast a ballot prior to receiving their Voter Notification Card in the mail may obtain a Pin/Password by contacting the Everyone Counts ® helpdesk and answering pre-determined security questions. In person voting will commence at 10:00 a.m. on October 27, 2014.
