TINY TOWNSHIP – Farmers in 15 massive tractors travelled up and down a Wyebridge road April 24 to protest a solar farm being built just metres away.
The fields along Wood Road used to grow soybeans and oats, and are kitty-corner to dairy farms going back generations. Now, workers in orange jumpsuits grind and beep their way across about 90 acres of land in trucks and cranes.
