Earth Day Watershed Clean-up
Join Transition Collingwood, Blue Mountain Watershed Trust, Nature League, Women for the Water, and CCI for a community clean-up of Collingwood’s public spaces and waterways.
Tuesday April the 22th (Earth Day!) we will gather at 1pm at the amphitheatre at the end of North Maple Street.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing. The Town will supply gloves, garbage and recycling bags.

Beaver Valley Community Garden Launch
Wednesday April 23rd 2:30pm – 4pm at the north school yard.
We will have a ceremonial tree planting with Town Council and community sponsors. This will be followed by a tour of the garden and an opportunity to learn how to get involved in this year’s initiatives.

Revolution – Film Screening Benefit at the Gayety Theatre
Thursday April 24th 7pm
Celebrate Earth Week by attending the screening of REVOLUTION, with proceeds going to our newly launched seed libraries in the Collingwood and Meaford Public Libraries. Our community seed libraries allow any member of the community to access organic heirloom seeds & educational material, participate in free workshops, enjoy the process of growing food & receive the health benefits of eating clean local food.
