The Huronia Woodland Owners Association, the oldest Woodland Owners Association in Ontario, is having its Annual General Meeting at Simcoe Hall, Lakehead University in Orillia On Saturday February 1st, 2014.

Where: LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY ORILLIA CAMPUS, 500 UNIVERSITY AVENUE, ORILLIA

When: Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon

Keynote speaker: Dr. Ulf Runesson, Dean of Natural Resources Management Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario Forestry Around The World and Forest Education

Lunch will be served at noon and members will be able to view 24 partner displays in the common area

The meeting will start at 1:00 p.m. in adjacent lecture room

AGM with minutes of 2013 AGM, Financial Statement, Membership Report, Public Relations Report, Education Report, Election of Board of Directors, Chairman’s Report, Plans for 2014, Maple Tree Replacement Project, Updates and draws for Door Prizes. Open Forum for networking and viewing partnership displays

The association is dedicated to improving and maintaining private woodlots.

 Timeline:

Lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, General Meeting from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Exhibits from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.
