Irate developer threatens to abandon project, move SS Keewatin

PORT MCNICOLL – Gil Blutrich says he is prepared to walk away from Port McNicoll – taking a multimillion-dollar waterfront development and the SS Keewatin tourist attraction with him.
“I am going to close the project down,” said the Skyline International Development Inc. president and chairman. “I need to make a decision to cut my losses and focus on other communities. I will not take Skyline under. I will just close it … and the ship will be gone once the snow is melted.”
