Memorandum of Understanding for Environmental Services drafted for Township of Oro-Medonte
UPDATE: NVCA issued a correction to the deadline for comment, which is now October 27. The text below has been changed accordingly
NVCA news release OCTOBER 7 2011 
UTOPIA – Members of the public are invited to submit comments regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA), the Severn Sound Environmental Association and the Township of Oro-Medonte for the delivery of environmental services.
At the September 23, 2011 board meeting of the NVCA, the following resolution was carried:
BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Directors receive the Oro-Medonte/Severn Sound Environmental Association/NVCA Draft Memorandum of Understanding to provide environmental programs/services within the Severn Sound Watershed; and,
THAT: staff seek input from Board members, the public, the NVCA solicitor, Oro-Medonte and Severn Sound Environmental Association staff, to develop a final version of this agreement for Board member consideration.
The Memorandum of Understanding is posted on the NVCA website at nvca.on.ca.
Comments must be submitted in writing by noon October 27, 2011 by one of the following methods: e-mail to lbarron@nvca.on.ca, fax to 705-424-2115 or mail to NVCA, 8195 8th Line, Utopia, ON, L0M 1T0.
