Why I’m on the Tahrir 
David Milne, 65, is a retired social worker from Belleville, Ontario. He was chosen to be a delegate on the Canadian boat to Gaza, part of Freedom Flotilla II. He’s in his 9th year with Christian Peacemakers Team, has worked in Iraq and been involved in non-violent resistance actions surrounding First Nations issues and the fight to stop Site 41, a now abandoned plan for a landfill site in Simcoe County.
