ALLISTON – North Dufferin Agricultural and Community Taskforce (NDACT) spokesperson Carl Cosack is convinced the proposed 2,300 acre open pit limestone quarry in Melanchton Township will do irreparable damage the environment and cause significant traffic problems on regional highways.
“People need to realize what is proposed up here,” he said. “It’s such an overwhelming issue and literally it will affect everyone.”
