Spending cutbacks and environmental protection incite political change
Letter to Innisfil Scope November 17 2010
After going to the candidates meeting at Nantyr Shores Secondary School during the election campaign, I decided that the time has come for change.
We need fair infrastructure, environmental protection, new business and lower taxes. More of the same is not good enough any longer, and residents must be heard.
A good example is the nearly $30 million road improvement on Innisfil Beach Road without much consultation with many of the residents. It might look good, but the medians are is not practical.
I hate going to that area now, and have started frequenting other places.
