An evening of interactive, and inspiring story telling about success in the face of
adversity from people who demonstrate what the human spirit can accomplish.

Hon. Dr. Carolyn Bennett, MP  – Dr. Bennett unveils how the Women’s College Hospital rose to world-class status amidst the forces of ‘closure’.  Dr. Bennett has represented Toronto’s St. Paul’s Riding in the House of Commons since 1997.  Her current areas of interest are the Statistics Canada long-form census, Multiple Sclerosis, Maternal Health and Child Care.  She is the opposition critic for Democratic Renewal.
Adam Fedosoff, Innisdale Secondary School   – Mr. Fedosoff shares his medical triumphs and takes us on a journey of will, hope and vision.  Adam Fedosoff of Barrie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2007 when he was 13.  He was treated but relapsed two years later.  Last December he had a bone marrow transplant and is now training for cycle marathons.  Adam brings an important perspective of people facing life-threatening diseases.
Dr. Kirsty Duncan, MP  – Dr. Duncan recounts profound research, and the passion that reigned over remarkable odds.  Dr. Duncan represents Etobicoke North in the House of Commons.  She was Associate Professor of Health Studies at the University of Toronto and a former research director for the AIM Institute of Corporate Citizenship at the Rotman School of Management.  She is the opposition critic for Veterans Affairs.
