On Wednesday October 13 the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Rogers Television and other local media, will be hosting a Candidates Debate for the upcoming Mayoral election. This event will be held in Fendley Hall, 565 Bryne Dr, Barrie, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and will be televised live on Rogers.
A panel consisting of business and media representatives will ask questions. However, the public can submit a question in writing they would like answered.
The following topics will be covered during the debate: Downtown, Tourism, and Barrie’s Economic Base. If you have any questions that you would like asked of these candidates during the debate, Please email questions to chadmin@barriechamber.com or fax them to 705-726-0973 by 2:00pm on Monday October 4th, 2010 or write them out and bring them with you for the audience questions portion of the event.
