News release – Site 41 group members – October 2 2010
Being residents and voters in Tiny Township we know that it is clearly up to all of us to educate ourselves and to support the candidates we believe can do the best job for us in council. By our participation in lengthy interview processes, and as part of several groups and as individuals we have been doing just that.
In our opinion, those who were very helpful to us in our battle to protect Site 41, and are running in this election, deserve our support in this election.
We endorse these individuals in the election October 25 for Tiny Township’s new municipal council:
1.  Ray Millar for Mayor
2.  George Lawrence for Deputy Mayor
3.  Andre Claire, Nigel Warren and Gibb Wishart  for councillors
We thank both FoTTSA and TRWT for inviting us to participate in interviews with their groups. And though we were independent groups with different approaches, there was great benefit derived from our discussions together. And certainly we also appreciate all Candidates for agreeing to have a dialogue with us and for their interest in serving the residents of Tiny Township by becoming nominees- its a tough job and we appreciate that.
We encourage Tiny Residents to contact candidates if you have specific concerns you would like addressed. Most of the candidiates have websites or can be contacted by email- we have included our endorsees info and contacts below.
Sincerely,
Anne Ritchie-Nahuis
Gord and Bev Leonard
