Alert from Nancy Robinson – September 29 2010
Bernard Pope (Ontario Farmland Preservation) and myself Nancy Robinson (Concerned Citizens Group of Severn Township) are hosting a meeting Saturday Oct. 2 at 10am at the Jarratt Hall (831 Horseshoe Valley Rd. and the corner of the 10th con.). The purpose of the meeting is to share information and gather more facts on how to effectively address the government and the Ontario Power Authority with issues relating to Solar Panel Farms on Agricultural Land. Many of you have attended Recurrent Energy information meetings and some have only recently learned of proposed solar panel farms in their townships, we are all feeling frustrated. We may be more effective fighting this cause as a group rather than separately. Everyone will have an opportunity to talk and put forward their ideas. Every bit of knowledge is valuable. Please invite your neighbours.
